How we can bring mental health support to refugees
SUMMARY
Hundreds of thousands refugees pass throughout a health catastrophe, living many dramatic scenes in their lives. In this TED TALK Fellow Essam Daod has been working in camps, rescue boats and the shorelines of Greece and the Mediterranean Sea to help refugees (a quarter of them are children) reframe their experiences through short, powerful psychological interventions.
And he presents to the people all the strategies to help this little kid. And the most important thing in this group is that we have to make the kids see their experience like something good and something that only a few people like themselves like heroes.
PERSONAL OPINION
I think this TED TALK is so interesting because I love to solve problems and more than once I've thought in helping with these operations to help these people. I think this TED TALK has only strong points because the TED TALKER is always using examples with the experiences he has gone through, using even a story. Also, I think that everyone in this world deserves an opportunity to be better than in a past and getting better with people's help. In my opinion humans can help one another and this TED TALK is an example of it.
